Hello fellow CBJ members,
Hopefully you had a relaxing and enjoyable summer. It’s hard to believe that Labor Day is next week and the High Holidays are only a month away. Thinking ahead, it’s time to start planning your needs for the holidays and the following months. For all your shopping needs, why not consider purchasing gift cards through CBJ – but don’t consider them only as “gift” cards. Use them for items you buy, instead of using cash or credit. By buying these cards, (at no extra cost to you), the synagogue will receive a percentage of your purchase, up to 12% from some stores. This is a quick, easy and no-cost way to support CBJ!
If you want to see what cards are available, go to raiseright.com, hit “Brands” and you will find a huge variety of cards and the percentages CBJ will receive. You will find grocery, big box, drug, sporting goods, and home improvement stores along with gas stations, restaurants, travel, entertainment venues, and so much more.
To place your gift card order, please email it to Jean Friedman at rfjfx3@gmail.com by Sunday, September 8th. Your cards will be available later in the week. You may pick them up at CBJ or at Jean’s house in BG. Your check made out to Congregation Beth Judea, or Zelle are accepted at pick-up, or you may use your credit card but a 4% service fee will be added to the total. CBJ has no cards in inventory, so make sure to order now all you will be needing for the next few months.
Thank you for helping to support this easy fund-raising project for CBJ. Please call or email with any questions.
B’Shalom,
Jean Friedman and Michael Gluck, Ways & Means Vice President
