Mission Statement
Congregation Beth Judea is a welcoming egalitarian synagogue whose
mission is to create a warm and inviting home that serves the lifelong spiritual, educational and fellowship needs of our members. Consistent
with the principles of the Conservative/Masorti Movement, we embrace
our responsibilty to serve and support the greater Jewish community,
the community at large and the State of Israel.
Family Shabbat Singing Service:
Join Us for an Introductory Session on
Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 11:00 am
There is no better way to share the joy of Shabbat than by singing it on Friday, June 1st. Rabbi Pivo and Cantor Weisberg have developed an all-singing service that we will try for the first time that night. This service is for all ages, and families with young children are especiall encouraged to come.
Services begin at 7:30 pm, as usual, but what we sign will be anything but "the usual". Thos who would like a taste of what we will do are invited to come to a special introductory session on Sunday, May 20 at 11:00 am to hear the tunes and get fired up for Shabbat!
